Action Requested: Adoption of Retirement Memoir
Wilma A. Flintstone, Ph.D., associate professor of anthropology in the College of
Literature, Science, and the Arts, retired from active faculty status on March 30, 2004.

The memoir must fit on one page using the margins, font, and spacing set up in this
document. See the memoir examples on the web site for guidance.
The body text usually has three paragraphs.
The first paragraph contains education information and occupational history—specifically
dates and titles of appointments and promotions, and it should closely follow the format used in
the examples.
The second and third paragraphs describe the retiree’s contributions to their field and to the
University.

The Regents now salute this distinguished faculty member by naming Wilma A. Flintstone
associate professor emerita of anthropology.
