Patent Agent and Pharmacologist
Pharmacology, Biology, and “Patentology”
Ian has a diverse set of laboratory techniques in both Molecular Biology and
Pharmacology, including Electrophysiology with 19 years as a Biological Researcher in
Industry. Being a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark
Office; Ian now has 5 years experience handling Intellectual Property for a small
Biotech company. He is experienced as a group leader and drug program leader and is
a Pharmacology and Biology consultant for an Artificial Intelligence Startup. Ian
attended Haverford College in 1984 to 1988 and received a B.A. in Molecular Biology.
Then returned to college from 1991 to 1993 to graduate with a M.A. in Molecular
Biology from Princeton University.
