Hardware Architects and Engineers Truly extraordinary hardware architects and ASIC engineers sought to join a New York–based interdisciplinary research group that is developing multiple generations of the Anton special-purpose supercomputer with the aim of fundamentally transforming the process of drug discovery. Our project combines innovative, massively parallel architectures with algorithmic advances in computational biochemistry. Experience in the architecture, analysis, and implementation of complex, high-performance hardware solutions based on the latest custom technologies is desirable. Particularly relevant areas of expertise might include parallel computation, high-speed interconnection networks, digital systems simulation, and high-speed (>1 GHz) ASIC design. Specific knowledge of any of these areas is less critical, however, than exceptional intellectual ability and a record of innovation and achievement. Our aim is to add extraordinary contributors and innovators to our small team of talented hardware engineers, and we are committed to fostering a stimulating, positive, and flexible work environment. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required. We are prepared to reward exceptionally well-qualified individuals with above-market compensation.
