Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds series IECEx Dry-Type Transformers provide
safe and efficient electric power distribution in the most extreme
harsh and hazardous locations.
Applications:
Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds series IECEx Dry-Type Transformers are
designed to operate where volatile flammable liquids or gases are
handled, processed, or used, and where ignitable concentrations
of gases or vapors are normally prevented by positive mechanical
ventilation, such as:
• Refineries
• Chemical and petrochemical plants
• Mining
• Corrosive process facilities
• Indoor and outdoor industrial applications

• Resin encapsulated core-coil assembly for reliable performance in
extreme environments
• IP66 enclosures provide essential ingress protection
• 180°C insulation system with 80°C winding temperature rise for
optimal loading capabilities and extended life expectancy
• Terminal blocks provide quick and easy tap connections
• Custom configurations available to meet customer specifications
