What is it?
Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common
goal.
Why is it essential?
Team need to have someone driving the ship, steering them in the right
direction and making the decisions for the team. They need to organize
and motivate the others and use their experience to enhance the teams
performance

Making decisions in games

Talking and liaising with refs and coach’s
Delivering pep talks

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
What is it?
It is a process whereby meaning is defined and shared between living organisms.
Communication requires a sender, a message, and an intended recipient
Why is it essential?
Key for teams to get points across, to work towards a common goal and
to ensure learning can take place.

Delivering a team talk/ or feedback to team mates
Thumbs up or praise a team mate
Smiling and clapping

What is it?
Collaborate: work together on a common enterprise of project
Why is it essential?
Teams need to be on the same page and working towards the same goal
otherwise they could cause clash causing more trouble than good in reaching
the goal
