Creating Your Own Poster

Pick a Nation: You will create your own propaganda poster from the
European country of your choice. (as individuals)
You will need to write a one page (typed, double-spaced) rationale
explaining why you chose the goal and the tools you used to reach that
goal on the poster. (Start with this step) DUE FRIDAY 2/6/15 @ START OF
CLASS.
You will create a visual representation of a propaganda poster. DUE
FRIDAY @ END OF CLASS
The rationale must include (in complete sentences):

The tools used to reach that goal—how are you appealing to your
citizens? (logos, ethos, pathos?)
An explanation for what their poster has to do with their country of
choice—goals, alliances, concerns, etc...
At your table groups/partners…
• We will be looking at eight posters and
determining what the purpose, or goal, of
each poster is.
• Also consider how the poster went about
trying to reach its goal.
• Label your paper according to the poster numbers…
