Use your metric ruler to measure the thickness, in millimeters, of the atrium wall (work on #28) Observe the trabeculated (striated) lining of the appendage and the smooth lining of the atrium. Cut open the superior vena cava and carefully pull back the tissue. You should see thin flaps of tissue that almost look like leaflets. This is the tricuspid valve. 10.
