Olympians
The Olympians were 14 Gods who ruled up on
Mount Olympus after the Titans.
All the Olympians are related in some way
whatsoever, so here they are.
Zeus
 Zeus is the king of all gods. He is also the god of the
sky.
His weapon is the thunder bolt, which he shoots at to
those who displease him.
He is also the cloud gatherer and the rain god.
(basically weather)
He is the youngest child of Cronus and Rhea.
 He overthrew his father Cronus
Hera
 Hera was the supreme goddess. The goddess of
marriage. She is married to Zeus witch is also her
brother. (all the gods are related)
 She was smart and clever. Hera was the only thing
Zeus was afraid of.
 She was raised by Oceanus and Tethys
 She was the youngest daughter of Cronus and Rhea.
Poseidon
 Poseidon is the god of the sea. He is also the
protector of the waters.
 Poseidon helped Zeus, (his brother) over throw is
father ,Cronus.
 He was wisely worshiped by seamen and married
Aphrodite ,granddaughter of Oceanus.
 Poseidon’s weapon is the trident, which can shake
the earth.
Demeter
 Demeter was the goddess of agriculture.(grain, corn
and the harvest)And she is also known as the
goddess of nature.
 Demeter is also a sister of Zeus, Poseidon and Hera.
Her husband was also Zeus. And they had a
daughter named Kore.(Persephone)
 Hades kidnapped Kore so she could be is bride, but
Demeter got so angry that she cursed the world that
caused the plants to die and crops to fail.
Hades
 Hades is a brother of Zeus. He is also known as the
ruler of the underworld.
 He is also the god of wealth. His weapon is the helmet
of invisibility, given by the cyclopes.
 His wife is Persephone whom he aubducted
