This world wide domination is to be accomplished in the
first instance by persuasion. This is the effort to
convert the infidels to Islam peacefully. If this does not
work, the Muslim people or Ummah as a collective
obligation, and according to some interpretations, as an
individual one, are to wage Jihad or struggle to more
forcefully persuade the infidels to convert. If
persuasion is not effective, the Jihadists are to force the
non-Muslims to submit to subjugation (known today as
