A cash box containing $180.00 in U.S. currency and a digital camera were taken from an unsecured room. See offense report # 11-1523. A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at the Student Recreation Center fields. An unsecured Apple IPhone was taken. See offense report # 11-1524. SHIFT 2 1416 TTPD 1445 TTPD 1605 TTPD A Texas Tech Officer documented information in reference to a vehicle that struck a pedestrian, which occurred in the R3 parking lot. There were no injuries. See incident report # 11-1526. A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at the Murray Residence Hall. A secured Trek mountain bicycle was taken. See offense report # 11-1527. A Texas Tech Officer responded to a medical, which occurred at the Student Recreation Center. A student injured their knee playing basketball and was transported to the University Medical Center Emergency Room by Emergency Medical Services. See incident report # 11-1528. SHIFT 3 2347 TTPD 0233 TTPD A Texas Tech Officer investigated criminal mischief, which occurred on the 5th, 8th and 9th floor of Weymouth Residence Hall. Three “exit” signs were damaged on each floor. Also three ceiling tiles were damaged on the 9th floor. See offense report # 11-1530. A Texas Tech Officer arrested a student, which occurred at Weymouth Residence Hall for possession of marihuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
