Officer Gilster arrested a student for criminal trespass following a report of a
male swimming in the Texas Tech Recreation Center Leisure Pool when it
was closed. The student refused to leave after staff members requested him to
do so. The student was issued a criminal trespass warning for the Rec Center
area and was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. See offense report # 091141. The student’s name is Matthew James Fouss.

Officer Garza investigated the theft of a bicycle that occurred at the bike racks
on the north side of Hulen Hall. A secured “Next Power Climber” bicycle
was stolen. See offense # 09-1142.

metal letters were stolen from the outside wall of the building. See offense

Jones AT&T stadium, west side. Clothing and other items were taken from

Sergeant K. Miller released pending the filing of charges with the Lubbock
County District Attorney’s Office two white male students for possession of
marihuana following an observed traffic violation in the 1700 block of Flint
Avenue. One of the white male students was also issued a Lubbock County
citation for possession of drug paraphernalia in which he signed. See offense
report # 09-1147.
