Types of Display Ads
Google AdSense
• Fast and easy way for website publishers of all
sizes to display relevant Google ads on their
website's content pages and earn money
• The ads are related to what your visitors are
looking for on your site — or matched to the
characteristics and interests of the visitors
your content attracts
• Revenue is generated either on CPC or CPM
basis
Difference between Google AdWords
and Google AdSense
• Google AdWords is a self managed advertising
medium through which you create your ads
and advertise online. Whereas, Google
AdSense is a way to earn revenue by
displaying ads on your own website
• You pay for AdWords and you earn through
AdSense
• The 2 accounts cannot be linked and need
separate transactions
