One PSU can support upto 248 ports. 10 PSU Cards • DX XL PSU has an optional 48 V section which can support upto 4 line cards in long loop. • For all installations requiring 48V in more than 4 line cards, external FCBC is recommended. 11 CPU Cards • CCPU ( Compact CPU) It is used upto 120 ports maximum. 89C52 based CPU. In-built tone card. Single DTMF dialer. Internal Hold On Music Jack for external music. One serial port. One parallel port. 12 CPU Cards • SL CPU For maximum 504 ports. AM186ES based CPU. Requires SL tone card. Two serial port. One parallel port. 13 Shared Service Cards • TONE – – – – – – – – It occupies a fixed slot in the system. Various types of dial tones Action Port. Single number DTMF dialer Hold On Music Howler Tone. 1 No. paging ports. SL Tone does not have any 3 party conference. 14 Shared Service Cards • VSN2 & VSN8 VSN2 card has 2 no. voice ports, used for Voice Guidance. VSN2 has two independent 3 party conference circuitry. With CCPU, 3 party conference of VSN2 , can not be utilized. With CCPU, 3 party conference is with CCPU itself. SL CPU requires VSN2 for having 3 party conference facility. VSN8 is an 8 port card & can be used only with SL CPU. 15 No conference circuit with VSN8 Shared Service Cards • 8 Party Conference card Only single number conference card can be installed. • MFC card (Works only with SL CPU) MFC is a 4 port card & occupies one full slot in the system. Any number of MFC cards can be used. • DTM card (Works only with SL CPU) Used for generate the DTMF CLI on SLT & to increas the No. of DTMF dialers • DPC card (Works only with SL CPU) DPC card can be used for eight independent zone paging. It works only with SL CPU. 16 Subscriber Line Cards • There are 2 variants in line cards – a. LCS 1 b. LCS 3 • LCS 1 is having normal extension functionality with CLI + Msg Waiting Lamp. • LCS 3 = LCS 2 + Reversal extending • Msg waiting Lamp / Line reversal extending, is available only with SL CPU. 17 Subscriber Line Cards • DLC is an 8 port card for connecting 2 wire Coral Key telephones. • In the ATD card the first four ports are the digital ports (similar to the DLC ports). 18 Trunk Line Cards • Trunk Card is an 8 port card; Can be used for connecting to a PSTN line • In-built feature - Line reversal sensing DTMF CLI detection • Optional features – FSK CLI detection, 16Khz metering sensing • 16Khz sensing will work only with SL CPU 19 Trunk Line Cards • ATD card has 4 trunk ports - the last 4 ports • 16Khz is not available with ATD card. However it will support line reversal & CLI on analog trunks. • DTD card is having 2 digital ports , 2 DTMF dialer ports & 4 analog trunks. • DID card is an 8 port card, which can be connected to the DID lines (Loop extend) from the PSTN • DID card has on-board -48V PSU for feeding line voltage. 20 Trunk Line Cards • TWT / BWT is an 8 port card which can be connected to any LE (Loop Extend) or LD (Loop Detect) line for connecting two independent systems. • TWT supports the following signaling – Decadic. MFC. DTMF only for outgoing. 21 Trunk Line Cards • E&M card is an 8 port card, which can be used for connecting to an E&M line for connecting two independent systems • Supports – Decadic & DTMF signalling. • E&M supports CLI also. • MTC is an 8 port card used for connecting to magneto telephones • Used only in Defence & Railways 22 Trunk Line Cards • E1 card has 30 digital trunks which can be connected to E1 lines from PSTN or for interconnecting two independent systems • E1 card can be used only with SL CPU • A maximum of 2 No. E1 cards can be used in a system. • E1 card supports decadic / Mfc & dtmf signaling. For DTMF signaling, VSN2 card should be present in the system. 23 Trunk Line Cards • BRI card is a 2 port card which can be used for connecting ISDN BRI lines from the PSTN. • BRI card is compatible with all types of CPUs. 24 New DX 248 Port CPU • New DX 248 Port CPU – Supports Maximum 248 Ports. – On board 2 No. E1 / PRI. – Existing E1 cards will not work with this CPU – Existing Line Cards will not work with this CPU. 25 Thanks any queries mail to [email protected] © Copyright 2011 CORAL TELECOM LIMITED The information provided in this document is not intended for use by or distribution to any person in any jurisdiction where such use or distribution would be contrary to the law or regulation or would subject Coral Telecom Limited or its third party agents to any regulatory requirements within such jurisdiction.
