Statistics (22.02.02)




61,536 unique DOI Article links found
out of total 252,474 unique references
(24% match rate)
87,179 total DOI links on site
31 journals deposited in CR MDDB
25,567 records deposited in CR MDDB
Experiences

Problems linking from NPG products to
Nature Research titles



AOP DOI registration was too slow via CrossRef




Created end-run process to Handle Server
Changing NPG DOI syntax from completely dumb
to internally logical


NPG journal short titles differed from Medline syntax used by CrossRef
Created pre-query filter. Transforms NPG short titles to Medline syntax for
query – problem solved!
10.1038/80132  10.1038/ng732
Use DOI for all inbound links to NPG products!
Document Delivery Revenue is increasing
Added DOI Search to nature.com
Plans



Nature Science Update articles to be
deposited and have ref queries built
Inbound links to ELS/EAA – testing now
Further automate process with Content
