Music:
Danny Elfman, American composer, known principally for writing music for
movies by Tim Burton and creating the famous themes of Tv series like“
The Simpsons” . In 1985 ,Tim Burton, a promising young film director
wanted to make his first movie, he wanted Danny Elfman to compose the
soundtrack. Nowadays, it is difficult to think of a film by Tim Burton
without the music of Elfman. Danny adapts to all styles: comic characters
for example :” Batman” , “Hulk” , “ Spider- Man “,films as “ The Bride
Corpse”, “ The nightmare before Christmas” and videogames as “ Kingdom
hearts II” , “ The Simpsons”….

Plot:
It is the story about a skeleton called Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King,
who lives in Halloween town. He is bored because every year things are the
same. One day he goes through a door in a tree and arrives in Christmas
town and sees how happy and beautiful it is all over there. When he is back
in Halloween town he shows his friends what Christmas is like, and he
suggests to do Christmas this year instead of Halloween. But things do not
go right as Boogie is playing a game with Santa Claus’ life! Christmas Eve
arrives soon after. Although Sally tries to stop him, Jack flies through the
sky on a coffin pulled by skeleton reindeers, hoping to deliver presents to
children around the world.
Comments:
• I think that the film is interesting but some parts are boring. I
like the music of the film. I recommend it because it is an
entertaining film
• I think the film is interesting and funny. I like the music and the
songs .
• I don’t understand very well the plot of the movie and I think it
is a bit boring. The characters are strange, but the music is very
good. The part that I like most is when Jack Skeleton finds
Christmas village.
• I think that the film is strange because the characters are very
ugly and the main character is the king in Halloween town and he
wants to turn it into Christmas.
• I like the film because it is interesting and funny.
• I think that it’s and interesting animated film because I like the
plot, the music and the characters. I recommend it to all the
children. The part I like most is when Jack tries to find what
the meaning of Christmas is. In my opinion it’s a funny film with
and entertaining music.
• I like the film because it is very interesting and all the monsters
in Halloween town wanted to bring Christmas to their place.
