DEPARTS: November 7, 2015
Day 1 - Our vacation to the fabulous southern United States begins with an early morning departure as we travel
through Pennsylvania to Dayton, Ohio. After checking into the Drury Inn, we will have time to relax and enjoy
dinner (on your own).
Day 2 - After breakfast (included), we will travel through western Ohio to St. Louis, Missouri, the city known as
the “Gateway to the West.” We will begin our tour by stopping at the Gateway Arch, our nation’s tallest
constructed monument. There are many breathtaking views to partake from the observation deck. For those who
don’t go up in the Arch, you can watch a movie that reveals the story underneath the creation of this intriguing
monument. Later, we will spend time in the museum, and then check into the Drury Inn in Fenton, Missouri.
Dinner is on your own tonight.
Day 3 - After a hot breakfast (included), featuring scrambled eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy
and much more, we will board our coach for a scenic drive through the Missouri and Ozark Mountains to
Springfield, Missouri. Regardless of the weather outside, we’ll stay dry, relax in comfort and get away from it
all by boarding the Jeep-drawn tram and experiencing the natural beauty of Fantastic Caverns. As we board a
comfortable tour of America's ride-through cave, we’ll begin a journey back in time. Fantastic Caverns, just
northwest of Springfield, Missouri, is one of more than 6,500 known caves that dot the Missouri landscape, and
more are still being discovered. Of these, only a handful are open to visitors - and only one offers a riding tour.
Along the roomy, brightly lit passageways, we’ll see thousands of speleothems - cave formations that include
stalactites and stalagmites, tiny soda straws, cave pearls, massive columns and flowstones, each one like no other,
and all created by water a drop at a time, take us back through the ages to a day when no human footstep was
heard here. Later, we’ll arrive in Branson and check into the Best Western Center Pointe Inn. This afternoon
The Showboat Branson Belle will be our host as we enjoy an Early Escape Dinner Cruise (included). The
Showboat Belle is an 1890’s paddle wheel riverboat. Stroll the Showboat’s four decks as you cruise the beautiful
Table Rock Lake. Branson's grandest lake attraction, the 700-seat Showboat Branson Belle, celebrates with Todd
Oliver and his talking dog, Irving. Later tonight we’re off to the Clay Cooper Theatre and Mel Tillis. Grand
Ole Opry member and Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee, Mel Tillis has entertained millions as a singer,
songwriter, and actor. Mel Tillis will entertain us with his award-winning talent and beloved, chart topping songs
including "Detroit City", "Ruby," and "Coca Cola Cowboy."
Day 4 - This morning we will enjoy a continental buffet breakfast (included) at our hotel, and then we’re off to
Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express at the Clay Cooper Theatre. His love for country music, clean comedy,
and human interaction, has made Clay a star on the Branson entertainment circuit and a favorite personality among
audiences. Joining Clay on stage for his Christmas Show is a talented roster of 24 veteran performers including
the hilarious stand-up comedy of Matt Gumm and the roping tricks and gun slinging of New York's number one
cowboy, Johnny Lonestar. Also featured are Clay's own family members Tina, his wife, who leads a group of 11
talented dancers, and his sons Colt and Caden Cooper, rising stars who entertains the audience while following
in the steps of their father. Later, we’re off to the Dutton Family Theatre for their 2015 Christmas Show. The
Duttons are international touring and recording artists that play everything from bluegrass to classical in their
shows, featuring a variety of instruments: violin, guitar, bass, viola, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica and
drums among others. The Duttons have not only won recognition in national fiddling contests, and as studio
musicians but have also garnered praise and awards in classical violin competitions. Later, we’ll enjoy a sitdown
dinner (included) at the Uptown Café. Entrees include Prime Rib, Hawaiian Chicken, Jumbo Fried Shrimp, and
Country Steak. Tonight we’re off to the Starlite Theatre and the Texas Tenors. Introduced to the nation on
America’s Got Talent, THE TEXAS TENORS have been wooing and wowing sold out audiences around the
world and now return to Branson exclusively at the Starlite Theatre for even more dates in 2014. Marcus, JC and
John smoothly blend country, classical, gospel and Broadway with a decided touch of country humor and charm.
Through their efforts with charities like “Homes For Our Troops” and “The Mission Project”, The Texas Tenors
are bringing their positive message of following your dreams and hope for a brighter future with them wherever
they go.
Day 5 – After breakfast (included) at the Grand Country Buffet we’ll enjoy a performance of the Hughes Brothers
Christmas Show at the Hughes Brothers Theater. The Hughes Brothers have been performing together for over
28 years, but they started so young that they're all under 40 years old. The brothers' impressive dance moves,
amazing instrumentals and spot-on harmonies promise to deliver an unbelievable time of music, and their antics
add a certain boy-like charm to the show. Seen on tour throughout the world, the Hughes Brothers sing you into
the holiday spirit with their original renditions of holiday favorites. Next we’re off to the Haygoods Christmas at
the Clay Cooper Theatre. The Haygoods transform their show into a holiday celebration. The first half of the
show features songs from the regular season line up, and the second half of the Christmas show is full of holiday
songs and festive arrangements. During The Haygoods Christmas Show you will hear Christmas favorites such
as "White Christmas," "Silver Bells," "Silent Night," "Do You Hear What I Hear," "Have Yourself A Merry Little
Christmas" and many others. Dinner is (included) at Montana Mike’s and tonight the Lennon Sisters and Osmond
Brothers at the Moon River Theatre. Come celebrate the holiday season with the Osmonds and the popular
Lennon Sisters – back by popular demand! With great harmonies and enthusiasm, the Lennon Sisters light up the
stage in November and December. The Lennon Sisters, America's Sweethearts of Song, joined the original
Lawrence Welk Show on Christmas Eve in 1955. They performed for 13 years on LIVE television as part of the
Lawrence Welk Show and sang for seven presidents. Their beautiful harmonies, natural charm and genuine
sweetness still come through in every performance to this day. The Lennon Sisters share their signature songs
and their 50 Years in 5 Minutes remembrance of their amazing entertainment career.
Day 6 - After breakfast (included) at the hotel we’re off to American Bandstand Theatre and the Brett Family
Christmas Show. This is cutting-edge, family entertainment. The Brett Family Christmas Show, featuring
Branson's Premiere Vocal Group, is an award winning two-hour production featuring Christmas classics and
remarkable musical variety for all ages. Seen on tour throughout the world, the Brett Family sings you into the
holiday spirit with their original renditions of favorites, including O Holy Night, Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the
Snowman and more. Their uniquely powerful patriotic tribute is performed with true precision, and pays heartfelt
honor to veterans. If you listen to all kinds of music and enjoy the Christmas season, then you will love the Brett
Family Christmas Show. Later we’re off to the Dixie Stampede for Dinner (included) and their Christmas Show.
The Dixie Stampede transforms into a winter wonderland to bring the spirit of Christmas to life! Snow falls softly
as you watch a live nativity scene, complete with three kings atop real camels on their way to see baby Jesus in
Bethlehem. Twinkling lights, evergreen trees, poinsettias, old-fashioned holiday costumes, and familiar holiday
music easily puts you in good cheer as Good Ole St. Nick arrives in an authentic sleigh full of presents. This
Christmas show will take you on a nostalgic holiday adventure that you don’t want to miss! Tonight we’ll enjoy
the Million Dollar Quartet at the Welk Resort.
Day 7 - After breakfast (included) we’ll start our journey north to Indianapolis, Indiana. Our host for tonight is
the Drury Inn. Dinner will be on your own.
Day 8 - This morning after a breakfast (included), we’re homeward bound. We will depart Indianapolis and travel
to Pennsylvania. We will certainly not be without many fond memories of the Ozarks, and the great hospitality
of Branson. As we head home, we can chat with new friends, relax and think of the many fond recollections we
have of the days we spent in the south.
