JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Marketing Specialist Radio Stations WDLB-AM, WOSQ-FM, WFHR-AM and WLJY-FM have an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Specialist, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week, plus additional hours as required. Description: As a Marketing Specialist for Seehafer Broadcasting, you will work with local businesses to gain an understanding of their business model… including but not limited to their products and services, customer demographics, and their current situation in the marketplace. You will further determine opportunities that exist, then present and implement marketing strategies utilizing your radio station/s to help them meet their business objectives. Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of proven success in outside sales and/or marketing. Additional areas of professional experience or education include business management, marketing or retail sales. Special Talents/Skills/Abilities: Ideal candidates must be outgoing and capable of working with a wide array of personalities. They must be comfortable contacting local businesses owners and managers to establish trust-based business relationships. A positive attitude and a natural curiosity and drive to learn about clients and to help them succeed is required. Ability to pay close attention to details, meet tight deadlines and be dedicated to quality performance is also necessary.
