September 2015 page 1 Looking for a fun way to spend time with your family? Head to the EcoCenter! Each Saturday our trained naturalists and partners offer a hands-on, nature based, fun event that is perfect for young kids to adults. Litterati: Selected photographs SeptembeR 5 from the digital landfill 12:00pm - 2:00pm Join us to celebrate the opening of a very special art installation at the EcoCenter. Litterati is an international movement that turns garbage into art by encouraging people to upload photos of litter to Instagram using the #litterati hashtag (then throwing the trash away). These photos are added to a curiously beautiful digital landfill of cleaned-up garbage, turning trash into treasure while inspiring others to do the same. Come out to hear a talk by Litterati founder Jeff Kirschner, enjoy light refreshments, browse the exhibition, and maybe even add your own works of art to the digital landfill.
