DEVOUR New Generation, combines the potent waste digesting properties of natural enzymes and special strains
of natural bacteria. These Bacillus bacteria spores (both anaerobic and aerobic) are cultured for the ability to digest
waste in minutes, not hours as most. DEVOUR New Generation’s bacteria are combined with FREE ENZYMES using a
patented stabilization process. Enzymes work as predigesters to break down solid wastes, paper, grease, oils and fats.
Bacteria then digests waste - just as in lakes, streams and rivers.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
SINKS, FLOOR DRAINS, URINALS AND TOILETS: Use 2 ounces once per week in every drain and allow to work overnight. For drains that
receive large amounts of organic matter (kitchen and floor drains, laundry sinks and drains), increase the treatment to 4 to 6 ounces, as
often as every other day. For best results, add DEVOUR at end of day or other period of lowest flow. Bleach, disinfectants and harsh
drain openers may kill the bacteria. Allow several hours after the use of these products, then re-treat with DEVOUR.
GREASE TRAPS: For average size grease traps (about 20 cubic feet), use one quart added directly to trap or through drain. Then use one
pint per week for maintenance. OR For initial treatment, use 1 DEVOUR PACK every 20 cubic feet (150 gal) of trap capacity. Repeat
this initial treatment for 3 weeks. Maintain the grease trap with 1 packet every week for every 40 cubic feet (300 gal) of trap capacity.
SEPTIC TANKS: Use 2 to 4 quarts for initial treatment of 500 gallon tank OR use 1 DEVOUR PACK for every 1,000 gal of system capacity.
For weekly maintenance, flush into the toilet either 1 pint DEVOUR or 1 DEVOUR PACK for every 5 people on the the system . Treat
drain fields and leach beds by pouring into the distribution boxes or vents.
SEWER LATERALS: Laterals are treated during periods of low flow by adding through manholes. Dosage per unit length of lateral will vary
with the diameter of the line: Lateral Diameters (Inches) = Ounces/500 feet
8 inches = 32 ounces DEVOUR or 1 DEVOUR PACK, 12 inches = 48 ounces DEVOUR, 16 inches = 64 ounces DEVOUR or 2 DEVOUR
PACKS, 24 inches = 128 ounces DEVOUR or 3 DEVOUR PACKS.
