How to Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook 2003
Once you have set up an e-mail in C-Panel follow the instructions below to set your
Outlook up to send and receive your e-mails. (if you need to learn how to set up an email account in cpanel click below of copy and paste the link into your browsers URL

NOTE: If the screen shots don’t match the version of Outlook that you are using
click on the Help menu in your Outlook menu bar. Click on the Properties tab to
see which version of Outlook you are using and then see the knowledgebase for
instructions on the correct version
1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.

2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "Add a new e-mail account" and click
Next, or click “View or Change existing e-mail accounts” to modify your email account.

3. For your server type, select "POP3" and click Next.

4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
User Information

Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.
Enter your full email address [email protected] in the Email
address: field.
Server Information

Select POP3
Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the Incoming mail (POP3) server: field.
Outgoing server settings vary depending on internet provider, se the
following for the most common provider outgoing server setting:
For Telus Internet Customers: Enter: smtp.telus.net
For Shaw Internet Customers: Enter: shawmail

Logon Information
The user name is the e-mail that you want to set up ie.
[email protected].
o The password you want to use is the one you set when you set up your email account on c-panel. If a Web Candy staff set it up for you check your
e-mail you would have received your password.

5. Click on the Outgoing Server tab and make sure My outgoing server (SMTP) requires
authentication is checked. Use same settings as my incoming mail server should be
checked automatically, if not make sure it is also checked

Incoming Server (POP3): Should be set to 110, if not type it in
Outgoing Server (SMTP): This varies depending on service provider, see below for setting:
For Telus Internet Customers: Enter: 25
For Shaw Internet Customers: Enter: 26

7. Click the Test Account Settings button and you should see all items with green
check marks... Click the Close Button to close the test window.
Click OK to save your settings.
