Teenage Parenting and Aid Organizations: Gender, Morality, Legibility and
Psychological Anthropology
Conducted dissertation research with three organizations that serve teen parents.
Analyzing organizational discourses, daily interactions and utilizing interviews
with teen parents, this research demonstrates the ways that parenthood is
constructed.
White Paper: Homelessness, Youth and HIV in Saint Louis
Collaborated to produce a white paper for the non-profit institution Doorways, to
assess through ethnographic research the needs of homeless and housing instable
youth in Saint Louis who have or are at risk for HIV.
American War Veterans and PTSD
Ethnographically researched experiences of PTSD among veterans living in South
Bend, IN through participation in focus groups and interviews.
Promoting Beneficial Response to Errors in Game versus Formal Context
Independent experimental cognitive emotional psychology research project.
Domestic Violence in Masaka, Uganda
Conducted research on the stories of women in Masaka, Uganda about domestic
violence and gender roles.
