150 nurses employed in the hospital taking care of all patients.
Medical personnel is responsible for their own and patients’
security and treats all patients as potentially HIV+.
HIV patients are dispersed around the wards, they are by no means
isolated from other sick people. The only existing division is
between the drug addicts and MSM due to the
antagonisms.
ARV treatment - breakdown in the work of HIV nurses – provides
quality of life for the patients and job security for the personel.

POSITIVES:
Excellent hospital equipment.
Medical achievements.
Strong emotional bonds between them and the patients.
NEGATIVES:
Limited number of nurses that means little time for trainings, too
much work load.
The nurses have to accomodate to changing epidemic trends
basically on their own. Often, the nurses have to provide
psychological support for the new infected and their families.
Indifferent or aggressive attiude to nurses from the side of drug
addicted patients.
