Behlman announces the introduction of its BLC Series
AC power supplies with the CE Mark.
Builds upon the proven Behlman BL HIGH POWER SERIES to meet
European standards worldwide.
Hauppauge, New York, December 2, 2015 — Behlman Electronics Inc., known for its
leadership in providing power products for military shipboard, airborne and mobile
programs, as well as for industrial and commercial applications, has announced that its
new CE Marked BLC Series AC Power Sources provide either single- or three-phase
output in a range of power from 3,000 VA to 9,000 VA.
Making the announcement, Behlman President Ron Storm said, “With over 39 AC
power sources in our line, Behlman has earned an enviable reputation for having a
broad line of AC power products that supply clean, regulated, highly efficient AC power
for industrial product testing, precision avionic test and power conversion, ATE, bulk
power and motor generator replacement. Now, with the demand for such Behlman
Power Supplies increasing worldwide, our talented engineers developed the new ultrarugged BLC series with the EMC and Safety directives required by European
standards.”
BLC Series AC Power Sources deliver all the quality features customers have come to
expect from Behlman. These include low cost per VA; rugged construction; clean sine
wave output with excellent line and load regulation; high efficiency and low harmonic
distortion. A multi-pulse input transformer ensures low-input harmonic distortion and
high power factor. Unique protection circuitry provides over-temperature and shortcircuit protection, plus voltage fold-back that maintains undistorted waveforms during
overloads.
Voltage and frequency adjustment, line drop compensation, phase angle adjustment,
external sync and output on/off with remote power connection, and CE Mark are
standard. Optional features include fixed voltage and frequency, output transformers,
analog remote control interface, and extended frequency range up to 1000 HZ.
Exceptionally valuable for those involved with motor testing, Behlman BLC Series
Power Sources offer a Motor Test Option that can soft-start motors, pumps and
compressors. This eliminates both the need for higher power devices, and the
bothersome and time-consuming task of clamping the motor to the test bench to prevent
it from falling.
Behlman BLC Series Power Supplies are 19-inch rack mounted units. Complete
