KW941-D World Leaders in Marine Navigation NMEA/STEPPER RETRANSMISSION UNIT & STEPPER AMPLIFIER INTRODUCTION The KW941-D interface converts serial heading data into traditional step transmission, and also acts as a stepper amplifier. Eastleigh SO50 6NZ Hants UK Phone: +44(0)2380 480450 E-mail: [email protected] The KW941-D allows a new heading sensor such as a gyro, magnetic compass or satellite heading sensor to connect to existing bridge repeaters or existing radars and navigational aids. The KW941-D is useful in both retrofit and new installations. Case Study A Motor Tanker had a Sperry Mk 37 Gyro that developed a fault and had to be replaced.
