Floral Make & Take Workshop
Fall Cornucopia Centerpiece $25
(Horn of Plenty)
Thursday, November 17th 2016 at 5:00pm - 8:00pm
A Cornucopia is a large funnel or horn-shaped basket overflowing with flowers, nuts, fruits and other
decadent goodies. It has long been a symbol of abundance and nourishment associated with the
Thanksgiving Holiday.
In this fun Make-and-Take class, students will follow along with the instructor during a step-by-step
demonstration created especially for the Fall Season. While designing their own unique version of a
Cornucopia, students study balance and flower placement. Students practice best techniques for securing
silk and dried materials in dry flower foam while they are introduced to the use of pan glue, wood picks,
gauged floral wires and various floral aids.
If time permits, class closes with an interactive Power Point to give students imaginative and unique ideas
for re-purposing materials and incorporating them into Floral Designs.
Add a touch of Old World tradition to your
home, and create a Fall arrangement that
can be used year after year!
