Role Profile
Job Title: Graduate Client Insight Analyst
Department: Client Insight
Salary Guide: £22,000 - £30,000 dependent on
experience
Hours of Work: 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon – Fri, 40 hours pw)
Reporting To: Head of Client Insight
Summary:
The primary responsibilities for this role include accessing, analysing and identifying strategic uses for information
Hargreaves Lansdown holds on its clients. The role involves supporting various departments across the company,
and you will become one of the go-to people for information about our clients and how they behave.
This is a varied role where no two days will feel the same. A significant amount of your time will be devoted to
answering ad hoc queries, but you will also be required to assist in longer-term projects to help us improve our client
analysis.
You will be inquisitive and have the natural desire and determination to solve whatever challenges you are
presented with. You will appreciate how data can help solve real-world problems and will constantly challenge the
way in which things are done.
This role is an incredible opportunity for someone with a good head for data, to rapidly build knowledge and help
drive the future growth of a highly successful FTSE 100 company.

Person Specification:
Essential
Desirable
Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical
experience.
Degree from a mathematical or science
discipline.
Knowledge
Understanding of databases and data
structures and types. Basic understanding of
investments.
Some experience of analysing data and
presenting relevant conclusions. Some
experience of direct client marketing,
preferably financial services.
MS Office (particularly Word and Excel).
Basic SQL select queries.
Detailed knowledge of investments.
