Loads of Fit-ups/Get-outs etc… DAVE BLAKE… … has spent the majority of the last twenty-five years working in various roles on the production side of theatre and performance. These range from stints as Production Manager for the Perrier Comedy Awards and Theatre de Complicite, to re-creating Victorian theatrical stage illusions for Brighton’s White Night Festival - and being D.S.M. for Jim Davidson. He is a frequent collaborator with Brighton-based touring company 'The Future is Unwritten' for whom he has designed (predominantly lighting – sometimes staging) for over a decade. Shows for this company include the stage adaptation of Nick Hornby’s Fever Pitch; original shows Meeting Joe Strummer, Way Out West, England Away and Brighton Til I Die! - as well as the co-productions of Bill Bryson’s Notes From A Small Island and Down Under. He has also lit shows for numerous touring companies, festivals and venues over the years including Michael Sabbaton’s The Call of Cthulhu and The Temple. Most recently he lit Garage Band at the Mercury Theatre Studio, Colchester.
