! New for Science Curriculum 2014 Forest and Beach Rocks! Age range: Key Stage 2 Explore and find rocks in our woodland and farm setting complete with quarry and woodland ‘laboratory’. Investigate and classify. Learn how fossils are made and make own fossil. Walk through farm to beach and explore the great expanse of shingle and slate on Beesands Beach. Days led by experienced teachers. Prices start from £150. Forest and Beach is based at the Underwood Discovery Centre in Beeson. Directions: From Kingsbridge direction at Stokenham on the A379 take the right turn at the roundabout signposted to the lighthouse. After about a mile and a half there is a left turn to Beesands and Beeson. Take this turning and then take the immediate right. At the brow of the hill we are on the left.
