Propaganda Project
Directions: Create a form of propaganda from the Cold War Era. You may do a
video, poster, podcast, or another creative form (as long as it is approved). The
piece of propaganda must include the following ideas:
 A reference to a specific time period during the Cold War
 Two to three paragraph explanation of the references and goals of your
propaganda.
 References to at least two specific events or topics from the Cold War Era
(CIA / KGB covert conflict, Red Scare, McCarthyism, Space Race, Bay of Pigs,
and Cuban Missile Crisis, MAD, Afghanistan, Proxy Wars, Fall of the Berlin
Wall)
 Clearly showing which country the propaganda is from.
 Some form of a slogan to go with your propaganda.
