Quench the thirst of thousands of
children.
Ethiopia is facing its worst drought in decades with more than
5 million people in need of emergency water, sanitation and
hygiene. Experts are predicting northern Ethiopia will experience
the worst drought in generations, one that will surpass the 1984
famine that killed one million men, women and children. The
drought affects school attendance, with more children on the
verge of dropping out - jeopardizing their future livelihood. The
United Nations estimates that as many as 15 million Ethiopians
could suffer acute malnutrition or worse unless more help is
found.

Provide lifesaving medical treatment
With only one doctor for every 28,847
citizens in Ethiopia healthcare is one
of the greatest needs for Ethiopians
who simply “Can’t pay the bill for
healthcare.” Simple communicable
diseases can be deadly due to
the lack of available treatment for
the people of Ethiopia; respiratory
infections, diarrhea and dehydration,
HIV, and malaria are among the top
concerns. Your gifts will provide care
for patients presenting with critical
levels of dehydration, significant wounds, infections and cancer. Your generosity
will make a vital difference in the ability of our patients to sustain a higher
level of good health in the long term.
