 Creating a flexible framework that enables participants to progress though drama based
activities, ultimately helping them devise and perform a community play about their local
communities
 Working with the group and partner organisations to design and deliver a celebratory
showcase performance (possibly twice – once at each community centre)
We need someone with the following skills/experience:
●
Experience of facilitation and leading drama based sessions

their communities
●

●

The 2-3 hour sessions will run for 16 weeks, preferably on Thursdays during the day, starting
mid-April, with an additional two days in July/August for performances (dates TBC). We will pay
a rate of £150 per session. We anticipate that there will be planning, preparation and script
development work outside of delivery hours, particularly in the run up to the shows, and the fee
reflects additional work required.
A small budget will be available for costumes, props and resources.
This work is offered on a short-term freelance contract. You will be responsible for your own Tax
and National Insurance contributions, though you will be covered by Freedom Studios’ Public
Liability Insurance.
