Through the use of keywords we can see what planetary properties are functioning through
which signs and which areas of life will be affected. The planet has an influence on the house and
the sign has an influence on the planet. This is both when seen in An Astrology chart or by transit in
the Sky.
Reading the Chart
When reading a chart, it is easy to become overwhelmed with the many possibilities. Here
are the most important things to look for. Everything else modifies these basic steps.
1. Identify the Lagna. (ascendant) The attributes of the Lagna are the main qualities of the person.
2. Find the Lagna Lord and the Sign and House of the Lagna lord. Lagna Lord is the planet that rules
