Development and Production of Certified Reference Materials and Quality Control Materials for
Newborn Screening and Measurements Routinely Performed by Clinical Biochemistry Labs for
Amino Acids and Organic Acids
(0.8 MEUR, 36 Months).
Candidate CRMs & RMs:
• UME CRM 1314- Target: 52 Amino Acids in human plazma,
• UME CRM 1315- Target: 53 Organic acids in urine
• Quality control materials (RMs) at different levels will also be produced within the scope of the project

 EMPIR Call 2014 -14-RPT-03-ENVCRM
Matrix Reference Materials for Environmental Analysis
A consortium of 9 partners (NMI’s, DI’s, Universities) from 8 Europian countries will be coordinated by TÜBİTAK
UME to produce certified reference materials [inorganics (Elements) in water &soil and organics e.g.: PFOS) in
water]. Strategies for sustainable production of environmental reference materials according to the needs of end
users will also be seeked (0.5 MEUR, 36 Months).
