Definitions • Government – the political direction and control exercised over the actions of the members, citizens, or inhabitants of communities, societies, and states; direction of the affairs of a state, community, etc.; political administration • Politics – The art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.
