FIRST OLYMPIC GAME – 776 B.C
First Olympic game was held on Greece, Athens.
To Greeks it was important because during the
ancient games the game were attributed to the
gods.
FIRST LANGUAGE OF GREECE 650 B.C
2nd MESSENIAN WAR– 640-630 B.C
2nd Messenian war is the battle between Ancient
Greek states of Messenia and Sparta. It was
started around 40 years after 1st Messenian war.
PYTHAGORAS WAS BORN– 569 B.C
Pythagoras is Greek philosopher, mathematician
and founder of the religious movement
called Pythagoreanism.

GRECO - PERSIAN WAR– 497-479 B.C
Greco Persian war is conflicts between the Achaemenid
Empire of Persia and city-states of the Hellenic that
start in 499 BC and finished in449 BC
ALEXANDER THE GREAT BECOME KING OF
MACEDONIA – 336 B.C
Alexander the great was a king of ancient – Greek
city Macedonia. In age 30 he made largest
empire in ancient time.

BATTLE OF AKTION – 31 B.C
The battle of AKTION is the final war of Roman
republic. Later Augustus defeat Mark Antony
and Cleopatra.
GREEK WAR OF INDEPENDENCE 1821–1829
Greek war of independence was successful war by
the Greek revolutionaries between 1821 and
1832, with power from Russia, the United
Kingdom, France, and several other European
powers against the Ottoman Empire.
SECOND BALKAN WAR 1913
Bulgarian forces attack to Greece and Serbia in
the start of second Balkan war. Greek win two
battle between Battle of Kilkis - Lahanas and
Battle of Doiran.
CIVIL WAR 1946 - 1949
There is the fighting between government and
communist. When King George II return to
Greece next year when the war still do King
George II got sudden heart failure and past
away, some people in Greece hear this
announcement and think that’s a joke.
GREECE NOW DAYS
Now Greece capital city is Athens with 665,000
populations and Athens is the oldest city in
Europe. In Greece the major religion is Orthodox
Christian. Now in Greece there are many
historical place.
