
I think that the Andes Mountains will continue
to slowly grow because the Nazca Plate is still
slowly subducting under the South American
Plate. Also weathering will erode the
mountains making them smaller. As long as
the Nazca plate is still subducting below the
South American Plate, then I think there will be
volcanoes forming in the Andes Mountains and
erupting.




