Plate tectonic is a theory that describe the
motion of the earth lithosphere or earth’s
crust.
The man who came up with this theory was
Alfred wegener.



Convergent boundaries- is when plates clash
and one is forced underneath the other, this
can cause earthquakes on the earth’s surface.
Divergent boundaries- are plates that are
pulled apart and move in opposite direction,
this causes lava to rise out from the mantle
and over a long period of time create islands.
Transform faults/boundaries- are plates that
slide past one another to their shared
boundaries.
