JOB TITLE:
Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacology

Ph. D. in Pharmacology or related field.
1-2 years relevant medical or pharmacy academic teaching
experience. At least two years of Postdoctoral experience is
highly preferred.

The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the California Health Sciences
University (CHSU) College of Pharmacy invites applications for a faculty position in Pharmacology at
the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. CHSU is recruiting highly motivated faculty members
who can teach in a Team Based Learning (TBL) curriculum and initiate an externally funded research
program. The Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacology will participate in the teaching of
Pharmacology and other related courses as deemed necessary by the Chair of the department. The
successful applicant will complement existing departmental research strengths in the areas of
cardiovascular, neuroscience, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, cancer, cell and molecular biology, and
toxicology. CHSU has laboratory space, core facilities and excellent opportunities for research
collaborations within the College and other research institutions. The successful candidate will be
expected to participate in departmental, college, state and national committees and other professional
