 Knowledge of the expected normal range for vital signs for adults patients
 Knowledge and understanding of general concepts relating to drug administration i.e. the five
rights and maintenance of intravenous devices
 Familiarity with the DOH Policies- Medication Administration by Endorsed Enrolled Nurses PD
2005- 343 – Medication Handling in NSW Public Hospitals PD 2007- 077
 Knowledge and understanding of the limitations regarding their practice
