Evolution of Muslim Society in Sub-Continent
Hinduism and Islam are not only religion but also
social orders. They have different culture, heritage ,history , Ideals and philosophy
according to which they have to live their life . They continue their struggle to
protect their culture and social values. Which can create social disorder between
them if it increase to a limit.
Muslims have their Islamic values according to
which they want to live their life. They have their Quranic and Sunnah values
which demands from them to change their lives according to rules defined. More
than one thousand years living together Muslims and Hindus can’t merge their
values into each other. Hindus religion depends upon caste but Islam is
independent from caste system but it depends upon ‘Tauheed and teachings of
Holy Prophet (PBUH)’.
Muslim Nationalism in Sub-Continent was advent
for struggle of Muslims independent state Pakistan . Pakistan did not create
Muslim Nationalism but Muslim Nationalism create Pakistan for Muslims . Muslim
Nationalism was create when first Hindu accepted Islam. Arab traders invaded on
Sub-continent and gave them a gift of new religion of Islam . Among them
Muhammad Bin Qasim was first Arab who entered in Sub-continent and brought
new religion. After that 17 attacks of Mahmood of Ghazna and then sultanate by
Qutbuddin Aebak presented new model of Islamic govt. to the people of SubContinent. After that Mughal Dynasty continued their sultanate of Islam in SubContinent. Muslims Sufias like ‘Hazrat Ali Hejveri’, ‘Moin-udin Chishti’ , ‘Farid-udin
Ganj Shakar’ and ‘Nizam-udin AUliya’also preached Islam and brought many
Hindus in circle of Islam.
Islam brought many changes in daily lives of people of Sub-Continent .And
created its influence on following ;

Political Influence
Economic Influence
Hindu started their struggle to defeat growing of Islam and Islamic
Values in Sub-Continent . They started many movements like :
 Bagti Movement : Main purpose of this movement was to demolish
concept of Islam and merge it into Hinduism. They started their campaign
that there is no deference between ‘Ram and Rehman’ . But at that ‘Sheikh
Ahmad Sirhindi ’ played a role and defeated them.
 Mahdavi Movement : Syed Muhammad of Junapur declared him as
Mahdi(A.S). But with blessings of Allah , It was put to an end with Fatwa of
‘Sheikh Mahmood-ul-Mulk’.
 Akbari Deene Ilahi : Akbar to attract favors of Hindu Rajput Akbar declared
another Deene Ilahi . But at that time ‘Hazrat Mujaddid Alif Sani ’opposed
Akbar and saved Islam form this attack.
