Your added value as a Marketing Officer (for our Business Unit LAC):
You are responsible for global marketing communication and you report to the Marketing Manager. You
are the first point of contact for questions from external and internal parties. You enjoy the challenge of
investigating new ideas to help the business unit LAC professionalize to the fullest extent. You acquire in
depth knowledge about the business and ensure that BRB can optimally respond to the market.
Furthermore, your role includes:
• Supporting in market research;
• Supporting in terms of product portfolio management;
• Maintaining and analyzing all online marketing communication channels ( e.g. website, LinkedIn)
• Responsible for promotion, through sponsorships and advertisements;
• Writing press releases and news items;
• Organizing Business Unit meetings, distributors meetings and participation in conferences.
Your background as Marketing Officer:
You enjoy the challenge of working in an environment where flexibility is encouraged. You are clear and
concise in your communication. You are independent and entrepreneurial. You have a commercial
mindset, you focus on quality, and you can be both practical as well as analytical. You are a team player
and your communicative skills are excellent. You keep calm in stressful situations. You have an eye for
detail and you excel in planning and organization.
Furthermore, you have:
• An HBO-degree in a relevant field (e.g. Commercial Economics, Marketing and Communication,
International Business);
• Affinity with the market in which BRB LAC operates;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• Good writing skills, you know how to capture people with your writing;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing).
