Study Guide Circulatory Test 2011
What is the purpose of the Circulatory System?
What is Cellular Respiration? Why does your body do it? Be able to identify the parts of the body
necessary for respiration.
3. How does the blood flow through the heart? To the lungs? To the body? Be able to identify the parts
of the heart.
4. How does each Human Body System interact with each other? For example, how does the circulatory
system relate to the respiratory system? Circulatory to muscular, circulatory to etc..
5. Why do we use models when studying the human body? Referring to those models we have used; what
are the strengths and limitations of those models such as the Bell Jar, Syringe, Siphon pumps, etc.
6. What could go wrong with the Circulatory System? For example: high blood pressure and its causes,
clots, etc.
7. What makes up our blood? What does each part do?
8. Know all the Parts of the Circulatory System:
a. What does it do?
b. What does it look like?
c. Is it an organ? Yes or No
Heart, septum, Right Atrium, Right Ventricle, Aorta, Left Atrium, Left Ventricle, Vein, Artery,
Capillary, pericardium, valves, pacemaker, heart murmur,
Review:
1. All Circulatory labs and Analysis questions
2. Worksheets on Circulatory Activity Sheets and any other handouts in class
3. Notes taken on Circulatory articles (on Activity Sheets)
4. Re-watch all Brain.pops ie; Circulatory System, Cellular Respiration. (wwpcms, middle)
