Significance of Symbols in Islamic Faith
The standard sign and symbol used by all Muslims is the crescent and star. This
is common to all Muslims, regardless to their sect or school of thought
identification. The crescent and 5-pointed star is also featuring on national
flags of certain countries that are dominantly Muslim.

The Crescent means:
1. Islam’s identification, as an ever-living world Order in faiths.
2. The “birth of Islam” is not a completely new event but re-awakening of the
faith that God’s prophets practised in the past.
3. Islam is here to stay and is regularly maintained by God’s servants as
Islamic Reformers, refurbishing Islam to pristine originality every Islamic
Century.
4. Islam will also spread, as the new crescent spreads to full glory and
unequalled brilliance.
5. The brilliance of Islam will grow ever brighter as with the growing crescent
and cast its light to every part of the world.
6. Islamic months are all lunar-based for simplicity.
The 5-pointed Star means:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
Islam will always be at the pinnacle.
Islam will always be as bright as the star.
Islam will always be guided in the correct direction.
The Five Pillars of Islam.
Prayer five times daily.
One star means there is only one God and He alone.
