Positions are unpaid, but interns can receive college credit in addition to awesome live music, fun times and once-in-a-lifetime experiences! Interns are allowed to attend any show at either venue on the guest list, provided the show is not sold out and the guest list isn’t too long. Interns can can also earn a +1 on the guest list on a show-by-show basis by demonstrating active engagement with marketing the event. This includes taking photographs as well as managing the Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram accounts. A few of your favorite concerts you've seen in the last year or two NO PHONE CALLS SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP Are you the tastemaker amongst your friends? The person who knows what’s cool before it’s actually cool? If so, the social media internship position is for you! These interns have a strong presence over our various social media platforms to further brand our venues and increase interaction with our audience. An acute awareness of upcoming events/shows is crucial. Extensive social media experience and knowledge is required. Duties: Develop monthly content calendars Create, market, and share social media content Manage various social media outlets Supervise and manage event invitations Assist in creating and implementing local contests and promotions ON-SITE MARKETING INTERNSHIP This internship role is a great opportunity to gain marketing and venue management skills. On-site marketing interns will be in charge of marketing and promoting both venues and coordinating promotions. Duties: Strategically coordinate in-house promotions o (Printing & posting fliers in/around the building, making handbills) Brainstorm concepts to help effectively market shows Maintain venue updates and organization Take initiative to research and be knowledgeable about upcoming events STREET TEAM COORDINATOR No venue is complete without a strong street team! This position will coordinate various marketing tasks for each venue by partnering with different local retailers, strategically organizing street team efforts and directing on-campus marketing. Leadership skills and knowledge of Columbia required. Duties: Develop and maintain a systematic method to distribute promotional materials to street team members Strategically plan specific placement for local retailer and kiosk promotions Ensure street team members execute their tasks as instructed Work to continuously grow our promotional reach Take initiative to research and be knowledgeable about upcoming events Submit periodic reports detailing street team performance
