Preposition 8. Interjection A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea. Nouns are the subject of a sentence. The bakery has fresh baked goods. Kylie is a pro-golfer. The dog was lonely for me. Interjection- An interjection is a word that shows strong emotion. Such examples are Wow!, Ouch!, Hurray!, and Oh no! Interjections can really liven up a sentence.
