2015-present Senior Editor/Clinical Writer, Medscape/WebMD. As the primary moderator
on Consult, Medscape’s crowdsourcing platform for physicians, I select and create
newsletter content for marketing purposes, research evidence-based reference articles to
provide clinical guidance, and create search-oriented tagging. Previously, I wrote, adapted,
and abridged a large volume of Medscape Reference (Drugs & Diseases) articles,
slideshows, and case challenges to seed content and provide reference material for Consult,
ensuring consistency, flow, clarity, accuracy of content, and adherence to house style.
2014-2015
Freelance Medical Writer/Editor. Created development-oriented magazine
articles and project proposals, press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials for
numerous clients, including the Mount Sinai Health System Office of Development and the
NYU Langone Office of Media Relations and Public Affairs.
2008-2014
Senior Medical Writer/Editor, The Visual MD (thevisualmd.com). Worked
collaboratively with scientists, physicians, project managers, visual artists, and freelance
writers to produce innovative content illustrated with accurate anatomical graphics. Wrote,
researched, and edited health and medical content in a variety of formats, including eBooks,
Web site content, video scripts, press releases, newsletters, iPhone apps, and social media.
Wrote and edited SEO-optimized online Health Centers providing detailed information on
