I am a highly experienced Associate Producer, Avid/FCP Editor, Motion Graphic Artist
with television network, broadcast agency, and post production experience with over five
years in television network promotions, television programs, films, reality TV, brand
spots, commercials, movie trailers, sales presentations, upfront presentations, teaching
documentary videos, program segments, marketing videos, teasers, sizzle reels, music
videos, PSA’s, short films, and a variety of long and short form content. Currently, I am
working freelance for Studio City as an Avid Creative Editor on their daily entertainment
program, “Dish Nation,” and creating promotions for their broadcast television programs,
“Ellen,” “Katie,” “Burn Notice,” “The Talk Show,” and more. Prior to my freelance
work, I came from a long period as an Editor/Graphic Artist/Motion Graphic Artist at the
NBC Network Agency, in a promotions, program segments, and marketing editorial
position. Earlier, this year, I was working as a freelance Editor for “American Idol
2012,” and as Render Farm Manager, and Animator for the 2012 season. I worked
freelance last year, as Lead Preditor for the Teaching Company creating promos, spots,
and long documentary-style teaching programs. So far, I have worked in the past two
years, as an Avid Editor for four TV programs, “Dish Nation,” “TMZ,” “American Idol,”
and “It’s Supernatural” for network broadcast. I have also worked as an Avid Editor for
Shim Films, an independent film company, whose films have made the film festival
circuit and aired on broadcast TV. I have worked over five years as an Editor with
advanced Avid Media Composer, FCP, Adobe After Effects, Compressor, Motion,
Illustrator, Photoshop, Color, and some Cinema 4D. I have expert knowledge and usage
of all file format systems and systems management. My overall knowledge of digital
production and including FTP, conversion tools, and multiple formats/codecs is superior.
I can upload any video to web and any format, and output video to tape for broadcast. I
have experience in finishing, color correction, and audio and music sweetening. Having
been employed at the NBC Network Agency, two post production studios, and an agency,
I have worked continually in deadline-driven production environments and thrive under
pressure. I have technical expertise of post-production technology. I can insert any
motion graphics and add any subtitles and text necessary for the edits, and have been a
network graphic design artist. I have advanced knowledge in FCP, Avid, and non-linear
editing systems. I have superior knowledge of 3rd party software such as Adobe
Photoshop, After Effects, Boris and GenArt’s Sapphire plug-ins. I have worked
extensively in SD/HD workflows in network and agencies. I am able to execute and
render effects, and finish in high resolution.

I worked in NBC’s MAGIC Room as an Editor and Graphic Artist, and Motion Graphic
Artist. I cut promos and promotional tapes for special programs and programs launches. I
created graphic elements for my cuts and other editors’ cuts. I worked on short deadlines
for daily topical promos and managed all aspects of the post production of larger projects.
For daily graphic needs I worked with NBC’s yearly branding package. I was brought on
to run the post production process for The More You Know 2010, NBC’s Public Service
Campaign. In short, I edited network on-air promos, trailers, program segments,
commercials, brand spots, teasers for programs, sales, sizzle reels, corporate videos, and
upfront presentations, and much more with great quality.

I worked as an editor on the films produced by this company serving as the main editor in
all aspects of film making, such as editing on Avid, preparation and organization of
editorial materials, organization and storing, handling and lining up film elements, and
setting up dailies. I acted as project manager for the film shorts.

July 2009-August 2010 — Editor/Graphic Artist
I worked as an Editor/Graphic Artist for Jump Creative post production agency. I
worked daily with Avid, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photoshop to create and online
spots, broadcast commercials, trailers, and marketing videos. We did a lot of work for
television shows and film studios for promotions and DVD releases. I was involved with
the recent 3D production, editorial and finishing that the company has been doing for 3D
spots for RealD and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
