Position Type: Full-time experienced Design Engineers for Mechanical and Electrical Positions

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent development experience
These positions require the ability for hands-on design of mechanical or electrical systems for medical,
industrial and electro mechanical products. Preferred candidate familiar with mechanical design of parts
and assemblies with plastic and other materials, using best design practice for material design processes.
Ability to design mechanical systems, sub-systems, mechanisms and/or piece parts as required to meet
customer deliverables. Electrical Engineers with development experience including RF, Hardware,
Systems, Firmware, Test and Production integration. Need hands-on Development Engineers to work
with other members of the development team to support corporate design initiatives. The position will
include project oversight, working with customers and interfacing with their managers for design
reviews. This position requires strong communication skills, and willing to work on site at our customer
location with their teams.
Requirements for available positions:










BSME, BSEE or equivalent mechanical or electrical design experience.
Experience in hands-on mechanical or electrical development with appropriate software.
Four to Six years’ mechanical experience in electro mechanical design with FEA mechanical
analysis capabilities are beneficial. Electrical Engineer for System, Firmware and/or Project
Management experience.
Mechanical Candidates with plastics, die-casting, and sheet metal part design experience using
SolidWorks or Pro-Engineer CAD Software.
Mechanical Candidates with hands on design and knowledge of manufacturing processes,
including Electrical integration, MCAD, ECAD or DFA / DFM.
Electrical Candidates with Firmware or Hardware programming with C Coding.
Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability to design complex components and assemblies
using corresponding software tools for electrical or mechanical design completion.
Mechnical Candidates with part designs, complex Assemblies and BOM’s using best modeling
practices. 2-D Production Drawing capabilities (ANSI Std.)
Electrical Candidates with RF, Hardware, Firmware, Embedded Programming, Test, Certification
and Production implementation
Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Position openings include:
1) Mechanical Design Engineer: Mechanical engineering. Mid-career level for designing ElectroMechanical, Industrial, Aviation, and other product development experience. Position includes application
of design principles for sheet metal, extrusion and injection molding. Capabilities include working with a
team on tasks like concept development, part detailing, vendor interface, drawings, FEA, and lab testing
oversight. Position requires an experienced candidate with SolidWorks design for molded and other
production parts and ability to hit the ground running.
2) Electrical Engineers for System, Firmware, Hardware and some RF development. Experience with
Hardware Product Test, Certification and Production completion is a plus. Hands-on programming with C
coding and other software development capabilities required. Medical or Industrial Products development
experience a plus.
3) Electrical Engineer: Candidates need to have an understanding and working experience developing
new products, from marketing requirements through design, manufacturing and support through the
product life cycle. Typical duties will include writing engineering requirements, designing circuits,
schematic capture, simulation, developing test plans, and most importantly, validating the design in the
lab and in the field. Must have hands-on experience and possess deep knowledge of basic DC/DC
converter topologies such as Buck / Boost and flyback topologies.




Understand DC/AC inverter circuits and topologies
Experienced and capable of testing and debugging circuits
Must be intimately familiar with power supply safety and environmental certifications, offline
controllers, components, magnetic design, power supply layout and state-of-the art techniques for
efficiency optimizations
Possess good understanding of thermals, mechanical and packaging challenges. Must also
possess knowledge of high volume manufacturing technologies and production variances
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Develop products from concept through design, manufacturing and support to end of life Interface
with various hardware and software vendors on complex system integration tasks to achieve
efficient, cost-effective product solutions
 Work with compliance groups to ensure successful completion of certification process
 Design, Document, and Validate designs
 Write Engineering Requirements, Test Plans, Validation Reports
4) Design and Quality Engineering
Design Quality Assurance Engineering , New Product Introduction, and supplier / mfg. completion
 Support project requirements analysis for testability
 Test planning
 Generation of test protocols based on requirements
 Support engineering on characterization of product
 Test execution, documentation, reports, and oversight of technicians during test execution
5) Quality Engineering Position: The position is for someone who is really strong in product
development with lots of design verification experience. The ideal candidate will be an Engineer who has
drug delivery experience (ideally medical). The electronics project involves motors and pumps, and
candidates should understand how they relate to drug delivery. Someone with medical drug dispensing or
pump related experience with some EE understanding a plus.
This could be a designer who would not mind venturing into a QE Test role for 7 months after the project
design is completed.

 Test reporting
 Medical product development experience preferred
