POSITION DESCRIPTION Name: Job title: Marketing Coordinator – Primary Date: July 2015 Department: Primary Marketing, School Division Reports to: Marketing Supervisor Basic purpose: The Marketing Coordinator – Primary will contribute to the sales success of Nelson Cengage Learning (Primary) - School Division by assisting the Marketing Supervisor in the ongoing development and execution of the Nelson Primary marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator – Primary will execute the promotion of Nelson Primary products in all channels throughout Australia and New Zealand. The Marketing Coordinator – Primary will ensure marketing and sales information collected from the field is utilised in the appropriate manner in order to generate and increase revenue in all regions. This will involve: - - Adding new product information, graphics and other marketing support material into PIM and Dotnetnuke. Magellan database and administrative duties 10% • The Marketing Coordinator (with assistance from the Marketing Assistant) is to ensure the Primary School Division customer database is up-to-date and accurate. Content and social media marketing 5% • Assist the Marketing Supervisor with planning a social media calendar to maximise coverage. • Ensuring content is current, engaging and regularly updated. • Manage and execute posting of social media messages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) as discussed with the Marketing Supervisor. Coordinate engaging and consistent content delivery through social media, competitions, newsletters, white papers and websites. • Ensure Company Social media policies and procedures are adhered to, especially when dealing with negative feedback. • Report regularly to the Marketing Supervisor social media activity and outcomes.
