Radiology Club participate at the RSNA in Chicago
The RSNA celebrated their annual meeting in Chicago: Innovation is the key to our future. The Kaskaskia
College Radiology sophomore and freshmen students got the opportunity to visit Chicago and experience the
RSNA. They took the Amtrak train to Chicago and stayed downtown. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit
the city and experience the technical side of the imaging profession. Students were also required to visit vendors
and write a paper concerning the aspect of purchasing equipment with all the different modalities. At the RSNA
conference they attended the following lectures:
ASRT@RSNA 2015: Working with Obese Patients in Radiology
ASRT@RSNA 2015: Best Practices in Digital Radiography
ASRT@RSNA 2015: Famous Feet
ASRT@RSNA 2015: Healthcare in Developing World...Education is the Key
ASRT@RSNA 2015: Patient-centered Imaging and the Role for the RA in a Changing Healthcare Environment
